NJC Full-Time Attorney Position Available
The Neighborhood Justice Center, Inc. (NJC), is seeking a talented attorney to join our community defense legal team on a Full-Time basis. This attorney will carry a full load of criminal defense cases in metro area state courts and will contribute in other areas of NJC service including expungements, community education and treatment courts.
NJC is a non-profit law firm, created in 1973, by and for communities of color with the express mission of ensuring that no one is denied access to a high quality attorney due to the color of their skin or lack of funds. NJC is proud to be a respected leader in the community and we are seeking a compassionate individual with relevant experience to contribute to this community leadership.
General Requirements:
Must be dedicated to seeking justice for the community and fighting for the Constitutional Rights of the traditionally disenfranchised.
Law school graduate.
Licensed to practice law in the State of MN and in good standing with the MN State Bar.
Applicant must have litigation experience.

Fluency in another language other than English is desired but not required.
